I’m Cathie, a family photographer based in Rambouillet. After fifteen years in the tourism industry, I turned to photography to recover that sense of travel, meeting people and creativity — but this time at the heart of your lives. My practice is guided by gentleness, sensitivity and kindness: values that shine through every image I create. My approach is firmly lifestyle and natural. I use natural light and trust spontaneous gestures and interactions to craft images that reflect who you are. Rather than asking you to pose, I invite you to live a genuine family moment — play, dance, cuddle, or simply share a tender silence. It’s often in those simple instants that the most precious images are born. I pay particular attention to newborns, babies and children: my patience as a mother allows me to adapt to each rhythm, welcome the unexpected without judgment, and transform the little everyday messes into authentic memories. Skin-to-skin sessions and intimate portraits are among the moments I cherish for their softness and ability to convey family tenderness. Working with me means first building a relationship of trust. We talk before the session to discuss your wishes, and I can come to your home to photograph you in your own cocoon if you prefer. On the day, I’m discreet but present: I guide gently when needed and make sure everyone feels comfortable. Afterwards, I make a careful selection and carry out thoughtful post-processing to deliver a harmonious, coherent gallery. Based in the southern Île-de-France region, I’m happy to travel around Rambouillet to capture your life’s moments.
