I’m Nathalie Vergès, a photographer based in Bidart near Biarritz, specializing in family photography. My professional background (TV sets, press, and IN'DANA STUDIO in Anglet) gave me extensive experience in portrait and reportage work. Today, my core focus remains family photography, newborn photography and children’s portraits. I love telling your story with simplicity, warmth and authenticity. My approach is gentle and friendly: before the session we take the time to talk so I can understand your expectations and we can choose the location that suits you — my cosy studio in Bidart, Ilbarritz beach or a natural spot in the Basque countryside. On the day, I create a relaxed and playful atmosphere so parents and children can enjoy the moment: no rigid poses, but candid moments, shared glances and genuine gestures that become natural, luminous images. With newborn photography I always respect the baby’s rhythm and comfort: pauses, warmth and tenderness are part of every session to ensure safe, soothing portraits. For children, I favour play and exploration to capture spontaneous expressions without stress. On the technical side, I work with Fujifilm hybrid gear (XH1, XT3) and, in the studio, Multiblitz flashes and a Fresnel continuous light for a refined result. I process images in Lightroom and Photoshop, applying discreet retouching to enhance colours and framing while preserving the soul of the photograph. I primarily travel across the Basque Country and the Landes and can occasionally work in Paris or elsewhere depending on your project. After the session you receive a gallery link to select your images; I then offer prints, albums, wood-mounted prints or a USB key according to your wishes.
