I'm Sophie, a photographer based in Valence (Drôme) specializing in family photography. My approach is simple: no fuss, no stiff poses—just real moments, sincere smiles and shared glances. I love working outdoors at sunset to take advantage of that warm, golden light that makes every image feel vibrant and intimate. Why choose a session with me? Because I'm above all patient and caring. My practice is built around respect for children and families: I guide you, position you gently, then let the magic happen. Children are welcome to run, play and hide—it's often their spontaneous movements that create the most beautiful pictures. During a family session I create a relaxed, joyful atmosphere: we laugh, move and get close. You will come away with images that feel like you, without artifice. How does it work? After your initial contact we discuss your wishes and the location that speaks to you. I send a preparation guide to help you choose outfits and colour palettes. On the day, the session takes place in the late afternoon to capture the best light. After the shoot I carefully select and retouch each image: deliveries are made via a private, secure gallery so you can view and share your photos with confidence. Turnaround time is communicated at booking (currently around 20 working days depending on the season). My philosophy is to be genuine, efficient and warm.
