I am Aurélie Stavinga, a photographer specializing in family portraits based near Voiron. My work puts the family at the center: I seek the truth of a glance, the tenderness of a gesture and the poetry of small everyday stories to transform a moment into a lasting memory. My studio in Saint‑Geoire‑en‑Valdaine is a warm cocoon designed to put you at ease, let children play and offer parents a calm, friendly experience. What sets me apart is a sensitive, tailor-made approach. I give as much importance to listening before the session as to staging and final retouching. Together we prepare the shoot: I advise you on outfits (with access to a curated selection of designer pieces and accessories), the backgrounds and the atmosphere you want — natural, luminous, poetic or more modern. During the session I prioritize kindness and simplicity: I know how to soothe the youngest, capture spontaneous complicity and suggest natural poses that highlight each family relationship. I consider every session the creation of a visual legacy. Whether it’s a multi‑generational portrait, a tender moment between siblings or a series with baby and dad, my aim is to produce timeless images you will love to revisit and pass on. Newborns and toddlers are welcomed with gentleness; I adapt to their rhythm to ensure their comfort and safety throughout the session. In addition, I also create children’s portraits and birthday moments (such as "Smash the Cake" sessions), always with the same artistic and human care. After the shoot, I retouch each image with a natural sensitivity to preserve the authenticity of your memories.
